[fib.unsoed.ac.id/, Wednesday, 26/10/2022] Saturday, October 22, 2022, the second National Seminar on Academic Collaboration between Lecturers and Students was successfully held in hybrid format. The event was officially opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ir. Noor Farid, M.Si. and welcomed by the Dean of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya UNSOED, Dra. Roch Widjatini, M.Si. in person at the Aula Gedung Bambang Lelono, FIB Unsoed. According to the report from the seminar committee chair, Ririn Kurnia Trisnawati, S.S., M.A., a total of 55 articles were received by the committee and presented in sessions 1 and 2. In this second year of implementation, the seminar was also attended by several presenters from outside FIB UNSOED, including FIB Universitas Mahasaraswati (UnMas) Denpasar Bali, UGM, Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri, Universitas Trunojoyo Madura, and Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This demonstrates an improvement in quality as the seminar, which was also held as part of the 8th Anniversary celebration of FIB UNSOED, received widespread attention and met the criteria for implementing a National Seminar with integrity.
An important message conveyed by the Dean of FIB UNSOED in his remarks was specifically directed at FIB UNSOED students to play an active role and be responsive in welcoming academic activities such as this in order to enhance their academic experience. The Rector of UNSOED, through the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ir. Noor Farid, M.Si., stated that national seminars on academic collaboration between lecturers and students like this represent a manifestation of good intentions, good practices, and good performance from the academic community of FIB UNSOED that must continue to be implemented in the future.
