Press Release Guest Lecture : ‘’Service that Speaks: Mastering the Essentials of Hotel and Restaurant Work’’The D3 Bahasa Inggris study programme at Unsoed held a guest lecture in Aula Bambang Lelono, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. This event was attended by lecturers and around 260 students from the 2024 & 2025 cohorts.This activity is a routine annual event aimed at broadening the insights of both lecturers and students regarding experiences shared by the guest lecturer.The lecture with the theme ‘’Service that Speaks: Mastering the Essentials of Hotel and Restaurant Work’’ was delivered by Stanislaus Ardadedali A.Md as the guest lecturer, who is an alumnus of D3 Bahasa Inggris class of 2019, accompanied by Indriyati Hadiningrum, S.S., M.P.d, a lecturer of D3 Bahasa Inggris, as the moderator.This lecture provided an overview of the professional world, particularly in the hospitality sector, to both 3rd-semester and 1st-semester students. The high enthusiasm of the participants and the speaker’s skills created an interactive atmosphere.The goal of the presentation on this theme was to prepare D3 Bahasa Inggris graduates to compete effectively in the real working world by appropriately applying the English language, especially in the hospitality field with professional work ethics.In his presentation, Stanislaus stated that in the hospitality sector, there are many positions that can be filled by D3 Bahasa Inggris graduates. He also conveyed that a good attitude and communication skills are key requirements when working in the hospitality industry.
