Purwokerto, December 12, 2023 – Fakultas Ilmu Budaya (FIB) Universitas Jenderal Soedirman held a Workshop and Mentoring program for BIMA Research Grants for faculty members. The event was organized by the Publication Laboratory of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Unsoed.
The workshop, which aimed to provide in-depth understanding of BIMA Research Grants, was attended by Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Chusni Hadiati, and Head of Publication Laboratory, Ririn Kurnia Trisnawati, S.S., M.A. The event was also enlivened by the presence of Moderator, Dr. Memet Sudaryanto, and several faculty members from FIB Unsoed.
The resource speaker in this workshop was Prof. Dr. Kundharu Saddhono, M.Hum., C.Ed., CISHR., from Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret. Prof. Kundharu Saddhono discussed various aspects related to BIMA Research Grants, provided tips and tricks for passing proposal evaluation, and shared examples of successful topics and proposals.
This workshop served not only as a forum for gaining theoretical understanding, but also provided an opportunity for FIB Unsoed faculty members to be directly involved in proposal development. Faculty members were given one month to prepare research proposals, which would later be reviewed and given feedback by Prof. Kundharu Saddhono.
This event marks an initial step that will be followed by mentoring activities in 2024. This mentoring is expected to help FIB Unsoed faculty members develop their proposals more deeply and with higher quality. With this workshop and mentoring program, it is hoped that the research of FIB Unsoed faculty members will be of higher quality and have a positive impact on the development of knowledge in the campus environment.
