Purwokerto – The Sastra Inggris study programme at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman held an online meeting with the Sastra Inggris study programme at Universitas Ma Chung on 21 January 2021. The meeting, conducted via Zoom, was held to initiate a student exchange cooperation programme between the Sastra Inggris programme at Unsoed and the Sastra Inggris programme at Universitas Ma Chung.
The meeting was attended by the MBKM team from both study programmes, along with the Programme Coordinator of Sastra Inggris Unsoed, Tri Murniati, Ph.D., and the Programme Coordinator of Sastra Inggris Universitas Ma Chung, Wawan Eko Yulianto, Ph.D. Also present at the meeting were the Dean of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Unsoed, Dra. Roch Widjatini, M.Si., the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at FIB Unsoed, Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu, M.Hum., and the Dean of the Faculty of Language and Arts at Universitas Ma Chung, Dr. Daniel Ginting, S.S., M.Pd.
During the meeting, discussions were held regarding plans for a student exchange programme between both parties as well as the curriculum structure of each study programme to determine the courses to be included in the student exchange cooperation programme. This meeting represents an initial stage of collaboration that began with the student exchange programme. In the future, it is hoped that additional cooperation programmes will emerge between both parties, namely the Sastra Inggris programme at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman and the Sastra Inggris programme at Universitas Ma Chung.
